"I've been freaking out..." Shayna told me. I immediately laughed. She had no idea just how
at ease my own awkward nature would make her. I tried to insist that
she need not stress about it, and about 15 minutes into the session, she
understood. Shayna and I are very similar in a lot of ways.
Over-thinkers, at our best. I am always happy when I'm able to relate to
a client and friend. We goofed. We made really bad jokes (okay, I made really bad jokes...) and we had enormous amount of fun for over 2 hours. Shayna and Kevin were such
AMAZING sports, and tolerated my spastic nature while I
humiliated myself. That alone puts them in high regards, as far as I'm
concerned. I am very much looking forward to photographing their wedding this September at The White Room in St. Augustine.
