JACKSONVILLE ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS: MEGAN + CARL

Megan and Carl met while working at a winery in Illinois. And that is all I needed to know about them. They were MY couple!

Joking aside, I absolutely adore this couple. She is an artist and he is a resident doctor. I absolutely love the juxtaposition of their personalities. I've never had to peel two clients off of each other like I had to with Megan and Carl. They are so completely smitten with one another and I cannot wait to photograph their wedding in March.

By the way, bringing a bottle of wine to a session? Highly encouraged. Two thumbs way up. Especially if it is a bottle from the vineyard you met at with the vintage year you met. I just can't.

HALEY: ST. AUGUSTINE FASHION PHOTOGRAPHER

I've done some small fashion work in the past and I absolutely love it- so I was very excited when old friend and fashion blogger, Haley, contacted me. We meandered around St. Augustine and played in the city's landmark nooks and crannies. I absolutely love that city, and I can't wait to work with Haley again.

AMANDA + JIMMY: GAINESVILLE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Among all of my brides, I do believe that I have been in contact with Amanda the longest. I remember when I first started specializing in weddings a few years ago, Amanda contacted me almost immediately. I had hardly any wedding work in my portfolio, but she said she didn't care. She had so much respect for art and said that her Father had taught her that a piece of art should move you and make you feel. For some reason, my work spoke to her, and I have never been more grateful for Amanda. I think I can safely say she is my number 1 fan, as far as my brides go. I appreciate her so much and I will always have a soft spot for her wedding, her family and her friendship.

It was a very touching and personal day for their family. I feel a little under-qualified to attempt to relay the tender moments of their wedding last October. I will post the photos and hope that maybe it has done it some justice. I hope they continue to cherish the photos and feel their wedding many years from now. Thank you, Amanda and Jimmy. You and your families have a very special place in my heart.

Thank you to Brent Culbertson for second shooting this wedding with me!
